I have found that the Text to Columns .... way of removing spaces only worked for trailing spaces, not leading spaces. Is this correct?

Hi Kathie,
It depends...if the text in your column doesn't have any spaces you want to keep then you can choose the 'Space' delimiter and it will remove spaces before and after the text.
You can also use the TRIM function to remove spaces before and after text, but ignoring spaces between words. And then there's Power Query...many ways to skin the Excel cat, so to speak.
