Hi Catalin,
The original version for Spanish works very nicely, however I tried to slightly modify it for Ecuador.
As you recommended, I am posting the version I am trying to modify, and the following is the only issue I can´t seem to workout:
- I need the currency name (ie. UnitName) at the end:
123.00 = One hundred twenty three 00/100 Dollar (English) = Ciento veintitrés 00/100 Dólares (Spanish)
The enclosed file has my modified code, a translation table and a number of examples for your review.
On a final note, would it be feasible to have the first word capitalized all the rest lower case? I know I could include the "Proper()" function, but if it is something simple, I would be much obliged...
Again, many thanks for sharing your versions and taking the time to look into my problem.
Kind regards, Daniel Murray
Hi Daniel,
Made a few changes, but it will not be perfect, simply because the code was designed for US Dollars, with its specific syntax. For a perfect translation, the code needs to be more flexible, to accept variables that does not exist in US version.
Will try to work on a more flexible solution, but it will take some time to redesign the code.
Hi Catalin,
Many thanks for taking the time; I trust you will be able to get around to develop a 'some-what' more flexible solution... Should you do so, please consider the table and notes on the left of the table, when coding.
Kind regards
