Hi,
Is there a VBA code to take a component of metadata from a DOCSET in SharePoint and automatically insert it into a Table in Microsoft Word?
i.e. If a component of metadata is a 'surname' then whenever a new item is created inside the DOCSET that information is inserted/embedded in the document

Hi Paul,
Are you sure VBA is the one for this task?
Power Automate looks more appropriate for this, it has the tools to monitor sharepoint to see when an item is created, it can also control other office apps to write into a template.

Hi Catalin,
I woulkd love to use Power Automate, unfortunately my employer is a lomg way behind with applications (stuck in the dark ages) so I am very limited as to what I can do.
