Hi,

I have a second, new microsoft account.  With this new account, have not been to connect to One Drive file(s) or Sharepoint files on a site I created.

See attached screen shots for details.

Initially, I got the "couldn't authenticate credentials" error.  I contacted microsoft support and the technician had me load some code in Windows PowerShell app.  Now when I try to connect I get a transparent window.

Any help getting my connection to web documents to work is appreciated.  Thank you.

Carolyn

Hello,

This is not a forum for SharePoint, I am sure you know that.

Anyway, check this support page. --> SharePoint help & learning - Microsoft Support

As stated in some of the pages, the use of Contoso is just to examplify, instead of Contoso in those PowerShell commands you should type in the name of the organisation this SharePoint site is created for. Same thing about the admin account name, I am pretty sure it is not admin[at]contoso.onmicrosoft.com. Based on your picture it should be storedsolar.

Do call Microsoft support again and have them guide you through, it is nothing we can help you with.

Best of luck,
Anders

Hi Carolyn,

Have you seen this article, it may help to work through it

Get Data from OneDrive or Sharepoint with Power Query

Hi -

Thank you both for taking time to respond.

Given I'm using Excel Get Data from web, I thought someone may have run into this error before.

I have followed the instructions from Mynda's post on "Get Data from OneDrive or Sharpeoint..", but still unable to connect.  I will say I always look for her posts first!  They always have the clearest and most detailed instructions. 🙂

I'll wait for Microsoft.  The Technician has been working with me on this since last Saturday.  Hopefully, it will be solved soon.

Enjoy the holiday season.
