Hi,

I am using oracle erp and I am afraid that exported files have the same format problem and it is .txt as well.

Please, if you may add more details for what you have done that would be awesome.

I read what you typed up there several times but I can not follow all details.

Is it possible to tell more details or record a quick video for what you did?

Thanks a lot 🙂

Mohamed

Because I'm using something related to that expo

Hi Mohamed,

I'll need to see the text file(s) and an example of what you want the resulting table to look like.  Without these I can't write a query to transform the data.

regards

Phil

I've just realized this thread now.

Thanks a lot for creating it.

Now it is a .xlsx file and not a .txt file.

Please recommend if I can continue posting here.

Thanks

Yes that's fine, please provide an example of the xlsx file and what you want as a result.

Regards

Phil

Thanks my friend 🙂

1st I would like to suggest editing the thread title from txt to xlsx to make it clear for all readers.

when I export the file and save it as a .xlsx I found it really huge file with about 50k rows or maybe more.

There are about 22 columns and sometimes they are 37 columns.

about 25 columns of them need to be checked for duplicated values, and prepare a report of the unique values for each column of these 25 ones and how many times it was repeated, then sort by the duplication from high to low.

I did tried to generate a query by creating a table of generated data and save the file, then create a new .xlsx file and then add a query from the table I've created, but when I create the query and add it to data model and load it to a pivot table it generates a lot of errors "48843 rows loaded, 39721errors".

But when I create a query and load it as a connection only it does not generate any errors.

Please advise 🙂

Mohamed,

This is the 3rd time I have asked you to attach a workbook.

Without your actual file/query/data I can not help.
