Dear all

I am working on a power query to extract data from a source data which contains the person ID on the first 4 columns and the recurrent visits are recorded on column E, organised by rows.

Different persons ID's are organised with the same sequence, on the following rows.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Kind regards

Hello,

What do you want help with? You don’t write what you are trying to do.

Hello Anders

Thank you very much for your reply

I would like to extract/organise the data from that sheet to a power query where the visits on the right table are organised per person, site and agency (first 4 rows)
In other words, patient ABC123 had visits on day 1, 2, 3.

does it make sense?

Jorge

Hi Jorge,

Please create a mock up of your desired result based on the data in Sheet1. There is a lot of information in this sheet, however from your description you don't really want to retain much of it. To be sure this is the case it's best if you show us what you want.

Thanks,

Mynda

Hello Mynda

Thank you very much for your reply

I have attached a new file with the desired end result, as a table.

My apologies if my english explanation wasn't clear

Hi Jorge,

Please see the file attached. I used the techniques described in this Power Query Unpivot tutorial for repeating rows.

Note: your 'end result' example didn't match your mock data so I'm not sure it's what you want. Please check it carefully.

Hello Mynda!

Thank you very very much for your support!

This was very helpful as you unblocked my mental process to find a way to solve this problem! 🙂

Thank you once again! 🙂
