When generating a table in excel from power query it shows as the default green. I can change how it looks in the design tab, however when data is refresh it goes back to the default green. How do I keep the version I have selected, solid colour at top without rows alternatively coloured.

Welcome to our forum!
If you choose a style from the Table Styles gallery it should stick. It certainly does when I use them. If you want a style that's different to those available in the style gallery, you can create a custom style.
