Yes, just double click the name on the left hand side of the PQ editor and type in the new name.

Or, click the query name on the left hand side of the editor, and on the right hand side of the window, above the query steps, delete the old name and type in the new one.

thanks but my question is it is possible to change queryname WITHIN M code? 

(like go to advanced editor and change queary name from there)

No, it's not like VBA where you can control other objects.

But, you can use VBA to change a query.
