Hello!
Is there any possibility to extract data from a google drive ? I tried from Web and inserted the link I have from my browser (Chrome) with no success. (attached the screenshot of the windown I am getting. No possibility to proceed)
Is there any possibility to do that ?
Hello,
I don't use Google Drive myself so I can't say if it is possible or not, but if not, then you could perhaps sync the folders/files to a local folder on your computer and then extract the data from there.

Hi Bruno,
You haven't said what the file type the data is in that you're trying to get from Google Drive. That said, have you shared the file on Google Drive so 'anyone with the link can view' first?
Mynda
Mynda, this is an excel file of course, and at least from my computer I would expect to be allowed to pull the data from it. After that, we can check if all the people that are allowed to reach and open the file can have access thru the query. I checked with a file I shared with all and it is not working neither. You can find the example here : https://drive.google.com/file/d/10FSSf2VTkRmK35h_Hnm39uy8VVbwRInF/view?usp=sharing
Hi Bruno,
You can access the file in PQ using a From Web query and the URL to the file
https://drive.google.com/u/0/uc?id=10FSSf2VTkRmK35h_Hnm39uy8VVbwRInF
PQ will see it as an XLSX file and show you the 4 tables in the file
If it's an Excel file, why not store it on OneDrive instead of Google Drive?

Phil
