I have bought and listened your Power Query, Power Pivot and Dashboard courses and I found them super helpfull for my job as a sales data analyst.
I have managed to catch data and tables from websites that use the html code and that was no problem there.
However I soon realized that I am not able to catch data from websites that are coded in PHP or Javascript. For example I tried to catch data from this website that has list of pharmaceutical products that uses PHP (website is in serbian language 🙂 ) :

I had no luck and the only thing that Power Query showed was:
Kind Name Children Text
Element HTML Table Null
In your Power Query course you have mentioned something about that there is a way to overcome that problem in M language. Unfortunatelly I am not familiar with PHP nor Javascript coding system.
Is there some way you can help me? Another course/literature/website you can point me to? I already tried google search and Microsoft forums but no one has discussed that yet it seems...

Hi Darko,
I'm sorry but I don't have the Javascript skills to do it either. I would have to search the web for ideas too, which I've done before and come up against the limitation of my Javascript abilities 🙁

I stumbled upon some websites such as parsehub.com that can extract data from dynamic websites. So the good thing is it can be done 🙂 bad thing is it seems you need to know some Javascrpit and PHP programming to do that in Power Query.
Either way if you find something that could be useful to this topic, i hope you will share it here with us 🙂
