Hi,

I'm probably going about this all wrong but it's frustrating me!! I have 3 sales people who have a monthly target, i wanted to add this into a lookup so i can then track the monthly sales results against there individual targets, the issue I'm having is how to load the data into a table so it feeds into the data model..

this format doesn't work as it has duplicate months and my calendar lookup also has multiple months in the months column... so i can't link the month between the data sources..

Account Manager Target Month
Person A  £   10,000.00 July
Person B  £ 100,000.00 July
Person C  £ 100,000.00 July
Person A  £   10,000.00 August
Person B  £ 110,000.00 August
Person C  £ 110,000.00 August
Person A  £   10,000.00 September
Person B  £ 160,000.00 September
Person C  £   86,000.00 September

If I have single months I then need multiple account manager names as each Account manager has a monthly target, so i would need to put them across the top but then can't name the Account Manager column as they'll be in a row..

HELP! 🙂

I'm thinking that a Pivot Table would be the answer, but not knowing what you want your end result to look like it is difficult to offer up a solution.

What does your other information look like and what do you want your end result to look like?  Help us to help you.  Also, instead of posting a picture, upload files so we don't have to recreate your data to help you with your issue.
