Hi guys,
I recently created a dashboard at work using excel 2019 and used a querry to obtain the nessesary data from our Oracle database.
because I wanted the new dynamic formulas available in 365 I talked my boss into updating my Office version to 365. Now unfortunately I no longer see how I can connect to an Oracle DB in 365 see screen shot. Any ideas?
Andrew
Hi Andrew,
It looks like your boss may have purchased a basic version of Office, because I can still see the Oracle connector and many more under Databases in my version of Excel.
This page shows the connectors available in the different Office 365 licenses. You can see the Oracle connector is not available in the Office 365 Home, Personal and Business Premium versions of Excel. You need Office 365 ProPlus.
