PQ in Excel 2016

Just started to do the PQ course and eventually realised that in 2016 this is now Get and Transform but the layout is very much different to the 2010 & 2013 versions you are using. Struggling to work out how items such as marking the date table is achieved. Are you going to update the course to include 2016 ?

Hi David,

In session 1.03 I point out the menu difference in Excel 2016, sorry you missed that. The menus actually aren't that different, it's just that in Excel 2016 they have compressed the buttons down so you have more clicks to get to the icons. Hopefully the image below will help you map what you see in the tutorials, to what you see in Excel 2016:

I am planning on updating the course for the Excel 2016 menu but in the meantime I hope the image above helps. I'm sure once you start using it you'll find it pretty easy to navigate.

Note: Marking the date table is done in Power Pivot, not Power Query.
