Hi Everyone,

I just updated Office 2016 on laptop, but surprise to note that some of options in Power Query add-on available for Excel 2013 is missing in

Excel 2016 Power Query. For example, Column from Example is not available and adding prefix / suffix missing.

Please let me know if I may enable those options or any update can do the work.

Screenshot of Office 2016 installed on system is attached.

Hi Abid,

I'm curious as to why you would upgrade to Excel 2016 when Excel 2021 is about to drop. In fact, the best license to upgrade to is 365 as that way you will always have the latest tools..

Anyhow, I suspect you need to run some updates to Office 2016 to get the new features you had in Excel 2013. Usually when you install new software, you then have to also install the updates.

Thanks Mynda for response. I believe the subject update is part of our official license.

I asked our Admin to enable updates to get the missing options. Hope it works.
