Hi Mynda
On Power Query I uploaded this data from this link: Currency converter - latest exchange rates and currency news - FT.com
My question is since FT is from UK, I converted all currencies column type to UK. Is that correct or should I convert to currency using each country currency type.
Ex: Should I amend the type for China to Currency China, Canada to Currency Canada etc or all data in this particular case to decimal numbers type: UK for China, Canada etc.

Hi Dieneba,
The Change Type step doesn't convert currency, it simply converts the data type, so you should be choosing the locale that the file/source data is in, which in this case is GB/UK. No need to change each individual column separately.
