Hi, Another question on Editor tool before loading new query. Some of the columns had "null" so I replaced them with blank. However in another date column a message came up

with exclamation mark on the blank, did not allow me to replace the null dates with blank.

So should I leave the "repace_value.PNGnull" as it is in the date column?

Hi Junko,

Why would you replace null? Is there a reason?

Nulls are not visible in the output table, they show as blanks, but in PQ Editor, if in a column are blanks instead of nulls, you will not be able to use Fill Up/Down, these are working only with nulls.

Another downside of using blanks in PQ Editor is that in the output table, these cells are not empty, if you use a COUNT in that column, you will notice that the blanks are counted too, and that is obviously wrong. As opposed to blanks, nulls are not counted in the output table if you use a formula.
