Hi Mynda,

I am working with a 300K+ rows/60+ columns table.  When I load the table to Excel, I get the following:

  • 34K Errors in 2 columns with whole number data types.  If I delete those 2 columns, everything loads OK but I understand there should be a way of avoiding this.
  • Because of the size, I get error messages:  "Excel cannot complete this task with available resources... Click OK" and "Download did not complete".  Sometimes I also get "..." in my filter list filtering just that, a row with "...".

Please, let me know how to correct this.  Thanks!

Hi Melyved,

I suspect your errors are a result of values in those columns which are not whole numbers. They might be text or something else that cannot be formatted as a whole number.

You'll need to locate the errors to see what the cause is. Then you can fix them by removing the 'changed type' step for those columns or going back to a step where the errors didn't exist and fixing the cells causing the error.

Hopefully that will get rid of your resources message too.

If you have problems please send me a sample of your data which contains the errors so I can troubleshoot further.

Mynda
