could you please tell me what is the best/efficient way of using Power Query and Power Pivot for Report Building.
I already cleaned the data in power query and I want to upload the tables in Power Query. The Question is, would you recommend me to have separate Excel files for this. I mean one file with the clean Data from Power Query and another file with the Data Model and the report,

Hi Maria,
You can't separate the query from the Power Pivot model file, so the answer is easy, you need one file with both the query and the Power Pivot model 🙂
Just be sure to only load the data to the Data Model. Don't also load it to a Table in the Excel file as this will be doubling up on the amount of data stored in Excel, causing file bloat.
