Hi,

We recently upgraded to Office 2016. And I am familiarizing myself with Get and Transform.

Question for you. On the "Add Column" tab, I don't see:

1. Conditional Column

2. Invoke Custom Function,

3. Column from Examples, etc...

How can I get these back? Please advise.

Thanks

CB

Hi Cele,

Sounds like you need to upgrade your install of Excel. Those are new features released after the initial release of Excel 2016.

There's no add-in for Excel 2016. If you're an Office 365 subscriber then you get automatic updates, but there are different channels and the channel you're on will depend on when you get updates. Slow channels get updates way later than the faster channels. It's up to your IT people to choose the channel.

You can find the updates available for the various channels on this page (change the radio buttons on the left-hand side to view the details for the different channels).

And this page explains how to switch to the current channel.

If you're an Excel 2016 user without Office 365 then you'll need to get your IT people to update it. Here is a link with more info for non-365 users: https://support.office.com/en-us/article/install-office-updates-2ab296f3-7f03-43a2-8e50-46de917611c5

Hope that helps.
