I do not have the from sheet option when trying to do the append lesson. I have from table / range. How do i select the sheet from this?
If i click on from table / range, a create table box appears. when i select the area an error box appears saying:-
A table can't overlap another table??

Welcome to our forum!
Microsoft in their wisdom changed the name of the From Table/Range button to From Sheet. Then after much backlash, they changed it back. It's the same button and should work in exactly the same way.
I do mention this early on in the course as I was aware at the time that older versions of Excel would still have From Table/Range, but didn't know they would end up changing the button name back again!
As for your error, it sounds like you're selecting a range that already includes a table. Perhaps when you click From Table/Range your selected cell is outside of the table on the sheet, so it prompts you to set up another table. If you select a cell inside the existing table and then click From Table/Range it will know that you already have the data in a table and it won't prompt you to create another table.
