When I go to "Using Local" and follow the step in the tutorial, my dates come up as yyyy/mm/dd and not dd/mm/yyyy as it does in the tutorial. How do I fix this?

Welcome to the forum!
I suspect it's caused by some regional settings on your PC. This post explains more about Power Query date settings.

Thank you Mynda, I thought I was perhaps doing something wrong. I will get IT to change the operating systems format for me.
