Morning Mynda,
I hope this finds you and your team healthy and safe.
I have a question on errors I'm getting trying to query files from a Sharepoint Online Folder.
If I "refresh all" in excel, I get error messages for most of the queries to Sharepoint. See attached file.
If I refresh one query at a time, the file does eventually refresh and the pivot tables are updated. So the queries are working.
However, if I refresh all again, the errors return. Most times it says it couldn't access one file or another.
If I go to the Sharepoint site to open the file that "has an error", I can't open the file(s). See attached file for sample error messages.
I have owner access to the Sharepoint site. Any ideas on why this might happen?
Do I have too many queries in my excel file? The excel file size fluctuates between 2.5 - 5 MB. There are 5 dim tables and 5 fact tables. Each fact table has less than 3,000 rows of data.
I have tried using the same queries in a PowerBi file and still run into errors.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

Hi Carolyn,
I wonder if it's a dependency issue e.g. if you have queries that reference each other and they all try to refresh at the same time it runs into issues. This might explain why you can refresh them one at a time, but not Refresh All.
Otherwise, I'm not sure. I haven't run into this problem myself before, sorry.

Thanks Mynda,
I agree that it maybe a dependency issue. Especially since the file eventually refreshes and I get the desired results.
I'll finish up this version but when I have time, will redesign the structure of the fact files and eliminate the dependency.
If I find out anything more, I'll be sure to let you know.
Thanks again and have a great day!
