If I send a pivot table pulled from PowerPivot file to a user who doesn't have PowerPivot..

Couple of questions about that..

1. Can they read it - I get that they won't be able to refresh it etc 

2. Generally, what can they do with it/definitely   NOT do with it..

Hi Anne,

Yes, they can read the file, but they can't refresh or alter the PivotTable structure i.e. no Slicers, filtering, changing layouts etc. Anything that requires Excel to query the Power Pivot model can only be done if they have Power Pivot.
