How can I format the time and keep them consistent (while refreshing) on a table or on a Power Pivot table?

1. On the master table (sheet name: Tuition_August_2022), the time on the "Pickup" column is formatted as 2:50:00 PM. How can I format it as 2:50?

2. On the Pivot Pivot tables (sheet name: Pickup),

(1) the time on the "Pickup" column is formatted as 2:50:00 PM. How can I format it as 2:50?

(2) Whenever I refresh it, the time formats become "numbers," so I need to format them every time I refresh them manually. How can I keep the format consistent such as 12:50, 1:30, or 2:55?

Thanks,

Jim

Hi Jim,

The file didn't get attached. You need to click 'start upload' after selecting your file, then wait for the grey check mark beside the file size before clicking 'submit reply'.

That said, you'd need to change the number format to 24 hour time, so 2:50 PM would become 14:50 and the number format would be h:mm

If that doesn't work, please attach your file.
