When I take an item from the field list into VALUES and choose COUNT (instead of sum)- it is not giving me a count of the # of lines which is what i want for a quantity amount vs sum, etc. What am i doing wrong??

Hi Joyce,
If there are blank cells in the column/field you want to count then the count will not include those lines. If you want to count the number of lines/rows then you'll need to count a field that doesn't contain any blanks.
