I update "date" source adding a column of Month Name as per your video, then go to power pivot- refresh, however it is not updated.
i have to go to table properties, the added column will be here (untick), then I tick it from there, which then will show on power pivot page.
Could you please advise?

i am on power pivot and forgot which section although. The one you added "MthName" add to data source "date, then the power pivot got updated automatically.

It was lesson 4.03. In future it would help if you can remind me as I have hundreds of videos and my memory isn't that good 🙂
It sounds like a bug. I've not seen this issue before and can't reproduce it at my end. The only reason I can think that it's not automatically adding the new column is if some other columns are unchecked and it doesn't automatically assume you want all columns. Sorry I don't have a definitive answer for you.
