Dear experts,
(by mistake, I posted this to the general forum first, so now my question is both here and there - sorry for the mess)
In my monthly reporting, I need to show EBITDA and EBITDA-%, and I cannot figure out how to do this in a good way. I have attached sample files with "book1" showing first one pivot table with my montly reporting (revenue, cost and net result). Then - to show EBITDA in a separate row I added a new pivot table using the measure EBITDA (sum of actuals for a specific range of account numbers). And finally, I added yet another pivot table to show the EBITDA-% (also created as a measure). I'm sure there is a much better way to do this and I hope someone can point me in the right direction.
My source tables are also attached ("postering" = actuals; "hjkonto" = file to help organise accounts in groups)
Thank you so much.
Hi Marianne,
I'm glad you found your way to the correct forum group for members. I've deleted your other post.
It can be tricky creating a P&L in Power Pivot since measures need to be included in the rows area. This post deals with how to use cascading subtotals to create a P&L, which I think will help:

Let me know if you get stuck.
