Hello group,
I am new to both Power Pivot and Query. Just started using them within the last 5 days. I am trying to understand which training/practice videos I should learn and sequence my work with first. In real world use, would I be performing queries on my data first then use power pivot after or vice versa? It seems practical to me, but I don't get that understanding anywhere and would like to learn in the order of the sequence I would be using these tools.

Hi Irving,
Great to see you're tackling the Power tools 🙂
Power Query is all about getting and cleaning data. Power Pivot is all about modelling and analysing that data. So yes, Power Query comes first, then Power Pivot.
