I’m trying to build a pivot tables that has fiscal years and fiscal months horizontal> For example:
FY2020 FY2021
Jul Aug Sep….. Jul Aug Sep
DataRow1
DataRow2
I get instead:
FY2020 FY2021
Jan Feb Mar….. Dec Jan Feb Mar….. Dec
DataRow1
DataRow2
I then gave up on month names and tried month numbers instead. Then I got:
FY2020 FY2021
7 8 9…..1 2 7 8 9…..1 2
DataRow1
DataRow2
I could live with:
FY2020 FY2021
1 2 3…..7 8 1 2 3…..7 8
DataRow1
DataRow2
Is there any way to do this?

Hi Mark,
It's difficult to say without seeing your file, but this post for regular PivotTables also applies to Power Pivot. Hope that helps. If you're still stuck, please share your file or a mock up file so we can see how it's structured.

Via your suggestion to use slicers and your PP video "7.04 Sorting and Grouping Dates", I figured it out. 
Slicers also gave me a better way to look at the figures.
