Hi Mynda
In the lesson you entered the to measures with dates 5/4/2009 to 4/4/2010. It returned the same value 3,732.84. You then added date to the rows and I note that the Sum of Order Amount shows beyond 4/4/2010. Why it does not show the dates you entered only (5/4/2009 to 4/4/2010).

Hi Dieneba,
The DATESBETWEEN function ignores the row filter context and simply returns the value specified in the formula. It therefore wouldn't matter how far into the future the dates in the PivotTable displays, the formula will still return the same value.
It does this so that you can then use this value in another calculation e.g. year on year change.
