Hey Mynda..
i have a quick question..
are there any differences between filtering line or any chart by using Slicer and by using drill Down or UP, considering both charts has same data and same year and quarter table ?? will i get the same result for both charts

Welcome to our forum!
Drill up/down doesn't filter, it just shows you more or less detail. If you mean cross filtering by clicking on a bar/column/line in a chart compared to a Slicer, then the answer is there is no difference. However, sometimes you don't have the field in your chart that you want to filter by, in which case you need a Slicer.
