Hi Team,
I have a measure with format, so they became text.
I cannot do conditional formatting for that. I cannot chose that measure in "based on field" of conditional formatting.
I also have a different measure with format. But for some reason, I can do the conditional formatting for that one.
What else should I check to be able to do conditional formatting.
Thank you.
Regards,
Aye
We've talked about this before. Remember the FORMAT function converts the value to text. You can try writing a formula to base the conditional formatting on that doesn't use the FORMAT function.

Hi Mynda,
Thanks for your reply.
I was able to do conditional formatting with a measure including FORMAT function on second attachment " MeasureTextButAbleToConditionalFormatting".
So I presume, it is not only FORMAT. I just needed to know what else could it be.
On a different note, I require a different format for KPI and if I do not use Switch True and Formatting inside measure, what else can I use to have a different formatted numbers?
Thank you.
Regards,
Aye
If the FORMAT conditional formatting works it's based on text, not values. Excel also gives numbers formatted as text an order.
To answer your question, please follow the link I already provided where you can try writing a measure in which to base the conditional formatting.

Thanks for the link, Mynda.
I tried doing a reference measure (which is an exact same measure without formatting) and chose that for base on field. so it works now apart from having some more measures.
But I still cannot find out the difference between the one it works and the one which was not working conditional formatting with the measure with format in it.

Aye
Glad you got it working, Aye.
Thanks, for all the materials, Mynda. 🙂
