Hello, my online Power BI can't use the map visual. It's telling me that I need to contact the support. Is it something that we can't do anything but wait? Thanks.
Can I still practice by using the BI desktop instead?

This is a setting change that you or your IT admin have to do. You can see if you have access to make the change by clicking on the cog icon in the top right of the Power BI service window > Admin portal > Integration Settings. Here you will find the map options available that you need to turn on.

I'm having the same issue here. But when I click on Admin, it says 'Get admin access' and then wants my DNS records for my website. I feel like I'm in the wrong place. Can you give more info about where to get to the Admin portal and integration settings?

I wonder if you're clicking on a different 'Admin'. The admin settings I'm referring to are accessed in the Power BI service. Click the cog icon in the top right > Admin portal > Integration Settings > Map and filled map visuals.
If that's where you're going and you still get that message, you'll have to speak to your IT people to get them to give you permission.
