Might be a "noob level" question here-but I am attempting to count how many times a value (say 3 or less) is occurring in column in Power BI. I am having a heck of time figuring this out.
The column is formatted as a number and I am attempting to see how many times a customer is waiting three days or less for an appointment.
The formula is confusing to me-used to be able to do this in Excel using the COUNTIF parameters.
Any thoughts would be appreciated!
Actually figured it out using a COUNTX structure with filter-I apparently was forgetting to put in the last part of the formula. Interesting learning experience. Fail, fail, try again, moment of clarity. AHA. Only way to really learn.
Thanks!
Glad you figured it out yourself. It's a great way to learn 🙂
Thanks Mynda, and for the great course designs you have on your website. They have really helped me a lot with various responsibilities at work-I think I had a role in convincing them to go with with Power BI after they saw a sample of what it could do. Thanks again. Hope it cools off down there!
Thanks, Matthew. It's good to know I could help, but you're the one doing the really hard work of learning and implementing.
Ironically we're in the hotter northern part of the country, but it's actually not as hot as the southern states. They are really suffering.
Sorry for the heat! Send some to the US; it was -65F in Chicago yesterday.
