"Blank" in slicer list

I just added a new table to my model and obviously there must be a data difference somewhere between the two because after updating, my slicer that just had my area names previously, now also includes a "Blank" choice.  What is the best way of finding the differences so I can fix that?

Thank you,

Hi Benedikte,

It's a bit difficult to visualise, bit presumably the blank is in the table that the Slicer is connected to, so I'd go to that table and filter the Slicer column for blanks. That should show you the rows with missing data.

If the data is coming from an Excel Table as the source, then I'd do the filtering there so you can fix the empty fields and then refresh the connection to get the update.

I don't think it is an actual blank but presumably a zip code that was transposed or a misspelling in a name.  Anyway, it sounds like the only fix is to work with the original excel file and do some compare and contrasts to find it.

Thanks,

Yep, that's what I'd do too.
