I'm completely new here. This is a Power BI question, but I'm not a registered course member. I've asked this question on the Microsoft Power BI forum, as well as on one of the MOTH youtube videos, which is where I was directed to ask here.
Based on an answer (and an idea) on the Microsoft forum, I've already concluded that this isn't currently possible. But hey, better to build awareness and get the mental gears turning, right? I also figured it wouldn't hurt to ask another group of experts 🙂
So, I have a clustered column chart, with years on the x axis and cost of scrap on the y axis. Each individual column within a cluster(year) represents a machine or work center. My question: Can the columns be sorted within the cluster by asc./desc. value?
I've attached a screenshot and a (modified) sample file of my data.
Hi Loren,
Thanks for asking this question. In order to be able to answer as precisely as possible (and as easily as possible), could you upload a file showing the problem encountered?
NB: When you have chosen the file, do not forget to press StartUpload.

Lionel
My apologies!
I think I forgot to click that upload button 🙂
To reiterate, I'm looking to do a sub-sort I guess. I want to be able to sort the columns within each cluster (or year, in this case) by value asc/desc.
Everything clear?
