Hi,rnI would like excel to replace the formula with a value. in A1 if the value in B2 is greater than 1. otherwise I need it to return the formula, that is in A1. I could use a macro but I don't know how to write it.15

Have you tried using FORMULATEXT() to display the formula instead of the value?
