I watched the video on overlapping dates and times on YouTube. Those dates and times were in seperate columns. My issue is that the dates and times in my spreadsheet are in the same column. I attached a file and my formula is in column N. Can someone help me with this?
Thank You
Robert
Hi Robert,
Maybe I'm a little dense, but what do you want to achieve?
I understand that you're comparing two timestamps but it helps if you explain WHAT you want to achieve with this formula.
SUMPRODUCT is not the way, you van easilsy compare if B2 > F2 and F2 < B2 but what if the date is another day? What about weekends?
A little more explaining will help me (and the others) understand you better to help
What's the Excel version?
Thank you, The spreadsheet is a list of calls for service made by our fire department. Some calls overlap or occur while other calls are occuring. I am trying to determine how many calls overlap.
I am using Office 2019.
Hello Robert,
You didn’t complete the formula correct. Check out the blog post for this.
In the attached file I have partially corrected your formula in N column (just to row 200).

I see now what I missed.
Thank you so much. This will be very helpful.
