Hi Rathanak,

What's different from your post https://www.myonlinetraininghub.com/excel-forum/excel/bank-reconciliation-over-multiple-days and the answers given there (such as https://www.myonlinetraininghub.com/excel-bank-reconciliation-formula )?

Hi Rathanak

I have modified the formula given by Mynda to DBuck earlier.

1) The date had been modified to show dd/mm/yyyy

2) Instead of "x" in the matched column, it is showing the amount (as you requested).

I have tested it using Mynda's data and it looks alright.

Not too sure if this is what you wanted but you can give it a try.

Like I told you originally, Rath. With a helper column to consolidate the Dr & Cr into one column then you can use this technique:

https://www.myonlinetraininghub.com/excel-bank-reconciliation-formula

See solution attached.

I totally agree with Mynda. Use a helper column. It will save you a lot of trouble

I, myself,use conditional formatting with formula =and(countif($a$2:$a$6,a1),countif($b$2:$b$6,a1))

format red color to highlight.

Thanks Mynda nd Sunny for you always help nd give some new ideas, wish u both a happy time 🙂

Hi Rath,

That formula doesn't work on your example data. What did you mean to write?
