I have a table edited in Power Query
Now I have to add interim summaries by branches
The button for interim summaries is not active for me in Excel - in a smart table
What can be done to get interim summaries within the smart table?

Hello,

Not sure I understand what your problem is, can you share a file with this problem?

In the sample attachment-
It must remain a smart dynamic table
Because it is based on Power Query
I need an interim summary for each solarSystem
To dodge after line 29 add a Price summary line
And so on to everything.
How do you add intermediate summaries to a smart table in Excel?

Hi Lea,

Add a column in Power Query that numbers the rows in batches of 29 i.e. the first batch will be numbered 1. The next 29 rows will be 2 and so on. Then you can use a PivotTable to summarise the data in the batches.

Note: you didn't provide an example of your desired result, so it's not 100% clear what you want (especially since there isn't 29 instances of the same solar system in the dataset), but I hope that gives you some ideas.

Hello,

Isn’t it easier to use a Pivot Table to get the count or sum of each desired column for each solar system?
Or enabling the total row for the table and add a slicer to filter quick and easy?

Anders
