Could you please advise me as to how to create a Group drop down box as per attachment.
I have my own building sheet to build and this would be a great asset for convenience in selecting products.
All you have to do in this work sheet is double click any Shopping List cell and the drop down appears.
The added advantage of having a Group list helps make that task even easier.

This is a wish.
In the Materials file attached in sheet 2 it shows the shopping list in the background and the form in the fore which appears after double clicking a cell.
I am wanting to recreate this form in my work sheet to help with selecting materials for the project.
Your materials sheet structure is not appropriate for automation. It might look better, but it's built for visual purposes, not functional.
You will have to reorganize it into a proper tabular structure, see image. (no blank rows, no sub-headings, use classification as in the first 3 columns)
If you reorganize data, you will be able to use the attached search form, to help you find the materials you need faster.
