Hello,

I need your help.

I realized if I use GetPivotData function with Pivot Tables created by selecting "Add this data to the model" option, the formula does not return a valid result.

I do not understand why.. Any suggestion to solve that?

I've attached an example to explain

Thanks

regards

Mark

Hi Mark,

Did you try to create the GPD formula for the 2nd PT manually?  You can create a GPD formula by clicking on the cell in the PT that you want the data from.

So, start your formula by typing = then just click on the cell you want the data from and Excel will create the GPD formula for you.

Because your 2nd PT is using Power Pivot the referencing for the GPD formula is different to a regular PT.  There are a couple of articles about this

GETPIVOTDATA Function

GETPIVOTDATA Function for Power Pivot

See attached for working formula for the Grand Total of the 2nd PT.

Regards

Phil
