Hello,

Hoping you can help me.

I am using the Gantt Template provided by Excel and looking to customise it.

I'm having some difficulty in colour coordinating the shaded date lines to the contractor - sheet attached.

Any help appreciated.

Hi Melanie,

It's not clear what you're wanting to do. Can you please provide an example in another sheet with manual shading applied so we can see what you're expecting.

Thanks,

Mynda

Hi Melanie,

Thanks for clarifying. You need to set up separate rules for each Contractor that includes an AND clause in the rule formula to test for the contractor in column B e.g.:

For JGS contractor, instead of the rule:

=Actual

You'll need:

=AND(Actual,$B5="JGS")

Then set the format to green fill.

Repeat for all rules. Obviously this will result in a lot of conditional formatting rules.
