Hi there,
Can anyone help me merge this excel to word and ensure that the "AMOUNT" cell values maintain the same colors.

You can copy the entire table in Excel and then paste in Word using Paste Options - Link and Keep Formatting. The 2 documents are now linked. If you make any changes to your table in Excel (including formatting), the word document picks it up.
