I have made a list of the articles,
in the list usually 1 article that already existed has a value,
the cloned items should be given the same value,
if it is 0 it may remain 0, if it is 1 the empty cell may have a 1.

to make a split in this I have a unique code column and the sub column.

does anyone see any logic in this?

Hi Kevin,

There's nothing unique about rows 13 to 16 for it to make sense to copy those values from row 16 up. Why would you have duplicate rows like this? In your screenshot called 'dataset.png' the data appears to have more columns e.g. size. Also, are you expecting to copy row 16 down to row 17?

In the screenshot it also looked like the data was more evenly structured with the values you want to copy at the bottom of each code section. If that's the case then you can use Power Query to Fill Up the values in columns D through G.

Also, you say, "if it is 0 it may remain 0, if it is 1 the empty cell may have a 1." but your example file says you want the values in yellow for code 14 copied to all code 14 yet most of them contain zeros.

Please provide a more complete example file and show an example of your desired result that relates to the example so we can follow exactly what you want.

Mynda
