Hi,

Hope that someone will be able to help with this situation/issue. I am guessing it has to do with the Language version of Excel but not sure.

Here is the situation:

Excel chart was created in U.S. in English version of Excel and emailed to folks in France who says the chart does not show any trending lines (chart is blank).

Does anyone have any idea or how to solve?

Thanks for the help in advance.

It's guessing without seeing.

Are they using the same Excel version (2010-2013-2016-365)? When we know, maybe there is an explanation for it.

And is it so that they are using a French version?

Do you have a sample so we can test what this is doing with our language versions? (mine Dutch).

Are they seeing the right data in the right format? Or is something going wrong already their?

Are there other problems or misunderstandings when using this datasheet?

Is it special data, like dates or other special formatting which can cause this kind of problem?

Frans

The situation has been resolved.

The issue was the formula text(value, "mm/dd/yyyy"and the parameter is country specific, therefore, it was not working in French excel.

Thanks
