I have a file with lots of notes in different cells,
How do I copy data along with their notes?

Hi Leah,
Not sure I understand your question, if you copy and paste a cell with a comment (I guess the "notes" are cell comments), the comment is copied automatically, there is no special command.
If you want to copy without comments, you will have to use the Paste Special menu, where you can choose what to paste: formats, values, comments, formulas. (Ctrl+C then in the destination cell right click ans select Paste Special)
