Conditional formatting with a list

Hi Mynda

I am trying to highlight cells with certain names. I have created a named range - lookup2 , and tried to use this in the formula , but it did not work.   Are you able to assist ? See attached file

Try this formula as the rule for conditional formatting.

=ISNUMBER(MATCH(B2,lookup2,0))

I believe it does what you need.

The formula should be entered WITHOUT the quotes like the COUNTIF you had, just replace that formula with Riny's formula and it works.
