Hi,Mynda n Expert here

I Need your help.my company has rented motorbikes for operations.I have to calculate days for rental.but the problem is the month is not as calendar days.i.e for month of Mar is 31 days but my company rule set every month has only 22 days.the days to calculate excluding sat nd sun and also saleman leave from 3days over is also deducted.

how can we calculate by using excel formula to find exact day of rental in this March if start date Is10/03/2017(22/22 Is the rule set)?

I Hope you can give me an answer

thanks in advance

Hi,

I'm sorry but it's not clear to me what you want to achieve.

Do you have a sample file?

How/why does a month have 22 days?  If you exclude every Sat and Sun from March then it will have at least 23 days.

How does salesman leave come into this calculation?

I have no way of knowing how to calculate the number of rental days?  What is the rule for this?

Please provide complete, specific sample data and information on how these calculations need to be done, otherwise we just can't do anything.

Regards

Phil

Hi mey

I believe you are not getting an answer because no one understood what you wanted. Even the example file is not helpful as you did not show how you got the answer. Frankly, I don't even know which is your expected answer.

I am only making a guess that the answer you wanted is shown for Meas Vichet and Att Kimang (not the others).

If that is so, then I think you wanted to count the number of days that is not Saturday or Sunday AND the amount in column E is not equal to zero.

See attachment.

Unless you show what is your expected answer and how you got the answer (the logic), nobody will be able to assist you.

Hello mey tithveasna

what I am getting that you want to calculate by leaving holiday ... your company is counting only working days.

so you can use filter first to get real data and then apply sum and other function as per your need.

do it .... it will work .....
