Hi I have a file that uses power query to pull data from a folder and also has a few basic macros to highlight filtered columns etc

Just lately I have been getting a Pop up

An Unexpected error has occurred Auto recover has been disabled for this session of excel.

and all the code disappears and modules disappear leaving a blank grey workspace and I can't re-add.

When exiting and trying to save I get errors detected etc as per the screen shot if I click continue various formulas across 5 sheets are gone, not all just some.

Fortunately I keep backups so I can restore but the same thing occurs are a few minutes the code is quite basic and I have used it many times before.

Has any one else experiences this?

Hi John,

I've not personally experienced this. I recommend you follow a process of trial and error, deleting the formulas that get deleted automatically one by one to see which is the culprit.
